The University of Connecticut provides a comprehensive master’s degree in FinTech. This 36-credit programme will include a blend of analytics, technology, and business courses to prepare students for careers in Financial Services Technology. FinTech areas may include Finance, InsurTech, MedTech, and RegTech. The desired student will have strong aptitudes in business, technology, and coding and an entrepreneurial mindset. What exactly is FinTech?

FinTech (Financial Technology) refers to the latest software applications and other technologies developed to simplify the future of financial services for companies and individuals. FinTech encompasses insurance technology (InsurTech), regulatory technology (RegTech), medical technology (MedTech), and real estate technology, in addition to enhancing and simplifying traditional finance applications (PropTech). FinTech is a knowledge foundation that can be applied to many professions, resulting in a single overarching ecosystem.
