With the rapid adoption of cryptocurrencies across the globe, it is expected that Gucci, the high-end luxury brand, which is currently valued at over $15 billion, will see a handful of crypto-based customers. Customers will have the option to use a wide variety of cryptocurrencies; Gucci will accept over 10 cryptocurrencies.

In addition to the major cryptocurrency Bitcoin, altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Wrapped Bitcoin will be accepted at the stores. Five other stablecoins are also included in the list. The popular Memecoins Dogecoin and Shiba Inu were also not spared.

In a recent statement, Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarine noted the company’s interest in cryptocurrency adoption.

He is quoted as saying: “Gucci is always looking to adopt new technologies when they can provide a better experience for our customers, now that we are able to integrate cryptocurrencies within our payment systems, this There is a natural development for those customers who choose this option”.

Like many other brands, Gucci is also building a niche in the NFT market. The billion-dollar industry recently saw Gucci launch NFT projects – SuperGucci and Gucci Grail NFT Projects. Product owners will have exclusive access to unpublished Gucci collections before the rest of the public has access to them.
