The concept of the initiative has been formulated by Leo Burnett, a global advertising agency, and Prodigious, a production house.

Vicky Kaushal represents the new launch of UNI. He was observed performing in an advertisement where he highlights the features of the UNI pay1/3rd card by demonstrating some dance steps. He was graphically represented by being split into three different parts. The initiative of the company would operate by running an album of three consecutive clips. These would be available and accessible to the public and viewers through various Over The Top platforms in online mode and social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Physical print copies and out-of-home advertising techniques would also be used for promoting the brand. 

The co-founder of UNI said that “Vicky perfectly personifies the Uni brand—he is stylish and stands out from his cohorts.” His portrayal of impactful characters and his humble and candid demeanour outside of the films have all struck a chord with many millennials.

The new concept has been brought to light by the advertising agency Leo Burnett India and Prodigious, the production house. The advertisement describes the new features of the UNI launch. It also proclaims that the main aim of the company is to provide value to its users. The clips highlight how the Pay 1\3 card would benefit the customers by spending more. Rajdeepak Das, the CEO of Leo Burnett of South Asia, states that “The films portray the payment option in three parts over three months in a quirky and interesting manner. Uni cards empower users to spend their money the way they want while maintaining control over their finances without any hidden costs. With Vicky Kaushal as the face of the campaign, it is sure to attract everyone’s attention.” He also said that it is a unique initiative that has never been previously introduced by any Buy Now Pay Later firm.
