Two Big Digital Banking Conferences Will Take Place In Dubai And Oman

Next month, the Middle East will host two prominent financial services summits, the Digital Banking & Payments Summit and the NextGen Banking & Technology Summit, in Dubai and Oman, respectively.

The summits, sponsored by Cedar Management Consulting and IBS Intelligence, will present executives and leaders from the banking and entire financial services ecosystem with the most up-to-date information on digital transformation and payments.

An impressive lineup of speakers will share trends and developments on topics such as next-generation banking, B2B payments, customer experience, cloud, tech innovation, and much more during panel discussions and workshops, with additional perspectives drawn from industry professionals from banks and technology players.

The conferences occur against a fast-changing – and digitizing – banking landscape. “In banks, digitization has become more of a need than a preference,” said Chetan Parekh, a Partner in Cedar Management Consulting’s Dubai office and a leader in the firm’s Financial Technology sector.

“There are several benefits for embracing digitization: to increase banking efficiency, attract and keep new consumers, improve analytics, offer innovative products and services, and improve product customization.”

However, when banks pursue their digital banking agenda, they run into various stumbling blocks, with digital transformation in banking known for its difficulties. “We will help leaders examine the newest innovations in digital banking, so they may return to their firm with useful learnings,” the two summits say.

Cedar Management Consulting and IBS Intelligence are well-known companies in the financial services sector, having years of expertise in the Middle East since 1999, assisting financial institutions in the lion’s share of countries in the area. Cedar Management Consulting is a market leader in the consulting area, while IBS Intelligence is a market leader in banking technology and fintech.

The two companies have previously collaborated to host conferences around Europe and Asia, including the recent NextGen Core Banking Summit 2022 in London. Almost half of its attendees are CEOs or CxOs, with the other half working at (senior) management levels.

The Digital Banking & Payments Summit in Dubai will be held on November 3, 2022, at the Shangri-La Hotel in Dubai. On November 24, 2022, the NextGen Banking & Technology Summit will be held at the Grand Hyatt in Muscat.
